A mother in Birmingham withdrew her child from school,deliberately kept food from her and five other children until 5 year old Khyra Ishaq, her daughter died of severe mal-nutrition.Two other children were also seriously starved. The mother was cleared of murder but due to her psychological problems has a new plea of man-slaughter. All I have to say is where were the social workers if she had mental health issues? It is amazing what you can get away with when you have psychological problems. Although leniency is needed at times, it is a dangerous loop hole in our justice system. Well at least she'll serve something smh.
