Mid Staffordshire NHS Trust have left people to suffer for the sake of cutting costs. It is disconcerting to see that whilst a hospital was given elite status as a foundation trust, people were dieing unnecessarily due to the hospitals maltreatment of its patients. How could a hospital get away with this for so long, I don't understand?
It further shows how money driven this country is that the lives of people go unnoticed. This is the type of thing that I would expect to hear from a developing country that is struggling with resources, not a rich country in the west.I believe that instead of spending ridiculous amounts of money to go to war, in another country. We should focus on making sure the fundamentals are correct, the idea that going to a hospital can kill you is unfathomable and it is sad that it has gotten to this point. tsk tsk tsk x
